Mr. Costello received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis in 1986 and has degrees in Biochemistry as well as Biology. He then went on to attend the Georgetown University Law Center, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1991. He is licensed to practice in California state courts as well as California federal courts (the Northern, Eastern, and Central U.S. District Courts of California). Mr. Costello is a member of the California State Bar Association intellectual property section. Mr. Costello has also served as Vice Chair of the Sacramento County Bar Association’s intellectual property section. Because he believes that community outreach is important, Mr. Costello regularly lectures on various intellectual property topics at different venues throughout Northern California. Mr. Costello has lectured at the University of California at Davis, University of the Pacific, Golden Gate University, Sacramento Inventor’s Alliance (weblink) and for various legal education providers including Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) and Lorman International Seminars.
